Rules of Online Craps

A dice game, craps is an exciting and popular game played in online as well as offline casinos. Shouting and yelling is a common feature while playing craps at the gambling table in real casinos. Craps is played at the table specially built for playing it along with two dice. The designing and manufacturing of the dice is based on the strict standards and are kept in inspection in a routine manner for reducing any damage. The new dice are use after the use of existing dice for 8 hours and players are instructed by the casinos to handle them with care.

The dice are required to be handled with a single hand only when it is thrown and also the walls must be hit by the dice on the table's opposite end. When the dice are thrown off the gambling table, they are necessarily inspected by the stickman prior to put them back into the game.

About 20 players can get accommodated at a craps table and all of them get a chance to shoot or throw the dice in his/her turn. A player can bet on the thrower, if he/she does not wish to throw the dice. The table action comprises of a number of bets. A boxman, stickman along with two dealers are consisted in a casino crew.

Come out roll is the initial betting round, where a new game starts. This roll can only be made when an attempt to make a winning roll of previous shooter gets failed. This means, fails in making Point or Seven Out.

Then a new shooter starts a new game. If this point could not be made by a current shooter, he/she get back the dice to start a new Come Out roll. This can be referred as a continuance of the roll of that shooter, although, it technically identifies the beginning of a new game.

When the point could not be made by the shooter, then dice are offered to the subsequent player for a fresh Come Out roll and in the same manner the game continues. The person immediately subsequent to the left of the previous shooter will be the new shooter. So, movement of the game takes place in a clockwise direction in the region of craps table.

The rolling of the dice based across the layout of the craps table. There are three divisions of the layout i.e. two are the side areas and the third is the centered one. Both side areas reflect each other's mirror reflection containing the following bets:

  • Pass and Don't Pass line bets.
  • Come and Don't Come bets.
  • Odds bet.
  • Field bets.

Both sides share the central area and include the Proposition bets.

When 7 or 11 arrives as a come out roll, pass bets get won, but they get lot when 2, 3, or 12 arrives as a come out roll. When the come out roll is 7 or 11, the don't bets get lost and they get won when 2 or 3 arrives as a come out roll. When 12 arrive as a come out roll or 2 in some casinos, there becomes a tie between don't bets. The tie on the layout is indicated by a 'Bar' roll.
